We are exploring innovations in rail ticketing through a trial of Digital Pay As You Go (DPAYG) technology. The trial will test a mobile app that allows participants to check in and out seamlessly using their smartphone. 

The app uses your smartphone’s location information during travel to identify and log your journeys. At the end of the day, it calculates your fare based on the journeys you made.
