The app has been designed to run quietly in the background during your journey and optimised to have minimal impact on battery life. However, we’ll be monitoring the impact throughout the trial and making changes as required to further reduce consumption.  

 

If your phone runs out of battery mid-journey, the app may not be able to record your trip correctly, and you could be charged a maximum fare (£25). But don’t worry if this happens – you can dispute it via Journey History within 48 hours, or contact us after this time.
