A barcode ticket will be generated automatically when you start a journey in the app. While it doesn’t display your start and end stations, it is a valid ticket for all journeys within the DPAYG trial area. 


If you have any trouble scanning your ticket, make sure your screen brightness is turned up and that the barcode is clearly visible. If your phone is in battery-saving mode, switch it off as this can sometimes affect scanning. If you’re still unable to scan, show your barcode and journey details to staff.
